Printing a Short Selection
Summary: Excel doesn’t force you to print an entire worksheet when you choose to print. Instead, you can print only what you have selected on the screen. This tip explains how. (This tip works with Microsoft Excel 97, Excel 2000, Excel 2002, and Excel 2003.)
You may have a need to periodically print only a portion of a worksheet. Excel allows you to print a selection by following these steps:
- Select the range that you want to print.
- Choose Print from the File menu. Excel displays the Print dialog box. (Click here to see a related figure.)
- Make sure the Selection radio button is selected.
- Click on OK.
