Summary: When you visit a Web site in your browser and you roll your mouse over a hyperlink, you may see a small pop-up tip concerning the link under the mouse. In Excel this is called a ScreenTip, and it is easy to add them to the hyperlinks in your workbook. (This tip works with Microsoft Excel 2000, Excel 2002, and Excel 2003.)
ScreenTips are a Web feature supported by the latest versions of Web browsers. They appear when your mouse pointer hovers over a hyperlink, and they are used in the same way that ToolTips are used in Excel. If you are using Excel 2000 or a later version you can add a ScreenTip as you add a hyperlink by following these steps:
